Mining Engineering
The technique on mining of Zhongye Changtian International Engineering Co., Ltd. (CIE) is strong. CIE possesses particular technical superiority of mining in surface mine and large underground mine and have won 22 Advancement Technology Awards. In this half century, it have finished hundreds of design and scientific project on mining in or abroad, including the projects on mine of ferrous metal, non-ferrous metal, gold and construction material, and area on beach placer, blasting and development of underground space of the cities.

Photo 1: Overlook of 1st Phase Mining Project of Panzhihua Iron and Steel (Group) Corp.This project includes 7000000t/a Zhujiabao Ironstone Mining and 6500000t/a Lanjianshan Ironstone Mining, and is a self-designed and constructed mining project using the large-scale domestic equipment with the largest construction scale. This project was completed and put into use in Feb. 1970, and has won Grade Two Prize on National Excellent Project Design.
Photo 2: Extending Boundaries & Depending project of 2nd Phase Project of East Open-air Mining in Dayan Ironstone Mining of Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corp.
This project outputs run-of-mine 2000000t/a, and the Extending Boundaries & Depending scheme has been used. The expanding rib without production suspension has been realized, and the economical efficient is obvious. This project has supplied useful experiences to similar mining and was completed and put into use in 1985, won Gold Prize on National Excellent Project Design.
