Environmental Protection Project
CIE is the only design and research unit in our metallurgy system that is not only engaged in design of environment project, evaluation of environmental influence, but also engaged in ecologic protection and land reclamation.
The techniques of CIE on treatment and disposition of dangerous industrial waste, comprehensive treatment of urban domestic rubbish, burning of medical waste, treatment and disposition of old electric appliances, treatment of industrial and urban domestic sewage, comprehensive use of converter sludge, BE sludge and steel, planning and design for land reclamation in metallurgy mine and quarries, and use of renewable sources of energy take the lead position in China.
CIE has completed about 100 projects on various ¡°three-waste¡± treatment, noise controlling, ecologic protection and land reclamation, and about 100 construction projects and environmental influence evaluations in regional planning.
